JANUARY 2009 OPEN-CAMP SCREENING.

The Dundee United FC is dedicated to youth development and part of its resolve is the January 2009 open-camp screening,which over 4,000 football players within the age range of 17-21 years are expected to attend.The screening exercise is limited to players from Nigeria,Ghana and Ivory Coast.

The aim of the open camp screening is to select 1000 players for the club's feeder teams and feeder teams of other club sides who are jiont sponsors of this program.

Venue of this program is Larbardi Beach Hotel and Race Course Centre,Accra Ghana.

ELIGIBILITY

Iinterested participants MUST be citizens of the above mentioned countries and MUST be within the age range as t January 2009.Participants who are 17 years old MUST obtain a letter of clearance from their parents.

SELECTION

Participants will be selected based on merit by a panel of coaches.A period of 14 days is priscribed for the open camp screening after which,successful participants will be signed up for the first four season contract offer.

All participants who entered for the screening are entitled to a daily $500 camp allowance,accomodation,feeding,free kits and transportation tro and fro camp destination from their respective countries.

APPLICATION

Interested participants MUST pay the sum of N7,500(seven thousand five hundred) for the application package kit.The fee must be paid through Bank PHB PRESTO LOCAL MONEY TRANSFER,and payable in the name of the club's country representative:

The application form will be sent to you through DHL express within 2 working days.You are then required to complete and scan the completed application form, and send it to the above email.

Please note that the deadline for the payment of the application fee has been extended to 12 January,2009.

Your travel itineries to Ghana will be communicated to you as soon as your completed forms are recieved.

The first batch of the campees have commenced camping.The last batch will begin January 30th,2009.
